【關於馬雅莊園】

 

馬雅莊園位於Boquete中的Alto Jaramillo城市中，海拔高度落在1500-1650公尺，莊園周圍環繞著許多木樹、果樹、花卉、授粉蜜蜂和野草莓灌木，非常適合種植藝妓。馬雅莊園是在1988年被Don Abelardo Guillén和Doña Celvy Sittón de Guillén收購，他們夢想著有一天能看到此莊園蓬勃發展並在結出碩果的同時，莊園周圍還能環繞著生機勃勃的大自然景象。目前莊園由他們的兒子Yanko和Mario管理與種植這個農場，他們與自然資源管理和保護專家-Margoth Fuentes Serracín合作，在田間管理中導入農業生態系統，將她的專業知識與馬雅莊園持續以新鮮方式種植的理念相結合，強調在所有的種植從苗圃開始一直到五年的樹木，均使用控制微生物和有機的方式，實踐再生循環的種植概念來保護環境。他們在2015年決定開始移植農場中將近30年樹齡的樹木並培育藝妓苗圃更替，2016年第一批移植完成，只佔農場20%的面積，目前農場種植有90%是Geisha，剩餘的10%面積種植Pacamara。
